Fill weight alone does not determine final dimensions. Gel density, viscosity, headspace, filling equipment and sealing method must be considered.
Why energy gel packaging needs physical validation
Formula compatibility
Acidity, oils, flavors and other ingredients can affect the required sealant and barrier structure. The packaging direction should be reviewed against the actual formula.
Filling and processing conditions
Cold fill, hot fill, pasteurization, HPP and other processing methods create different requirements. Confirm the fill temperature and processing route before approving material.
Race-day usability
The pack must fit into pockets or race belts, open with limited grip and dispense without uncontrolled tearing or excessive product waste.
Leak and transport performance
Filled testing should include seal inspection, squeeze testing, drop testing and transport simulation before scale production.

We primarily supply empty custom packaging. Your brand or qualified co-packer is responsible for formulation, filling and food-safety validation.

Yes. Printed prototypes can help confirm format and artwork, but filled compatibility and shelf-life testing must use the real product and process.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on whether you need a sachet, stick-style pack or spout pouch, as well as the dimensions and production method. We will recommend the smallest practical validation run after reviewing the brief.
Can you guarantee the shelf life?
No packaging supplier should guarantee shelf life from the pouch specification alone. Shelf life must be validated with the actual formula, filling process, seals and storage conditions.
